In need of good scripted tv to dive into. I’m an actor, husband is a writer, so it’s gotta be quality. We’ve watched the big, obvious ones. Not hot on franchises, procedurals, standard network fare. What are your snobby, smarty, oddball favorites? International is fine, we’ll spring for an obscure streamer if it’s worth it.

We love this heartfelt British comedy! It’s like “this is us” without the melodrama ending in flames every episode.

“A British, Apple TV+ comedy about a couple who want to start a family!! Which, on paper...NOT my area of interest, but it is very charming and funny thanks to Rafe Spall <3 and Esther Smith and a supporting cast like my all time favorite guy, Oliver Chris. Also I am admittedly behind a few seasons!! AAAAND for you freaks out there (me included) there is a Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys situation go”
