Brooks Running Shoes: They are so comfortable. I have the Ghost 16 on at the gym. I tried other types that felt a bit too cushioned, but these were just right.

On Cloud X 4 Gym Training Shoe: I like the low profile nature of this sneaker.

Good for gym. Good for walking. Good for travel as they can be worn with street clothes without looking lame.

Doesn’t take up as much room as, say, a La Sportiva trail runner (which I am also obsessed with).

My biggest complaint: the color options for women! Ew. Prefer this neutral in the men’s department if it’s going to be a crossover gym/street shoe.

TYR Women's L-2 Lifter: These won’t fly for cross-training, but this is a very popular choice for lifting shoes at my barbell club! And there’s a fun range of color choices.

Trail runner here so I am biased but I love Mount to Coast shoes for everything. They’re not crazy attractive though. Second vote is Solomon for looks.
