Hosting a big , fat, family-only turkey trot

Our extended family gets together every other year for Thanksgiving, so now we host a biannual turkey trot. A 2.75 mile loop around the lake. It’s fun. It’s intimate. It’s also VERY relaxed. No race day jitters.

Yes, you could all sign up for a local trot. Or you could organize your own — walking, stroller-pushing, biking, running, all forms of movement accepted.
