Reaching out to your oldest friends

One of my childhood best friends recently died and now I’m obsessed with reconnecting with everyone who knew me when. It has been so wonderful in what is otherwise a very dark time. I don’t want there to be any silver linings and I will never say there are, but Sarah would like that I’m putting myself out there and healing some old wounds. Talking to women I don’t really know much about but who loved me when I was 12 and STILL love me… that’s magic.
