a special, beautiful gem in Western Massachusetts. In addition to its big collection (fabulously described by them as books you don't need in a place you can't find), this bookstore also has a restaurant/cafe and is located in a scenic and special part of the Pioneer Valley. If you're in the area, a must!

“Got to pop in to this rambling book-warren perched alongside a river; chairs positioned strategically throughout, often near open windows and the sound of moving water. Found many treasures and brought home a biography of Ruth Krauss and Crockett Johnson, letters from Sylvia Townsend Warner, the Norton Book of Travel, a Kenneth Grahaeme book I had never seen before, and a book on Donald Crowhurst,”

“A magical little bookshop on top of a mill over a waterfall. This is a treasure! I recall a particulalry good curry chicken sandwich from the cafe”

“Books you don’t need in a place you can’t find. The most magical bookstore with a great cafe.”
