A bidet

Shortly after my husband and I started dating, we took a trip together and (as he was a long-time bidet user) I remember him being so ruffled about the lack of bidet(s) while traveling.

I thought he was such a priss.

Now, as I am also a bidet user, I get it. What the hell! What are we doing here in the U.S.?!

Honestly, I was worried a bidet would be cold and unpleasant. I’m a chilled person and like a warm and cozy bathroom experience. But I’m 100% sold and now a non-bidet experience feels…bad and incomplete. Dry wiping? Youre kidding me.

Eventually, we also made our way to reusable 100% cotton wipes (maybe sounds gross but, when you use a bidet, it’s not) and are completely off toilet paper (we keep a roll for guests). But that’s for another rec (as that switch has also been an improvement in our lives).
