Victorian children's cup

After a reverse image search and a little research into Victorian Children's Transferware, I have learned that this particular cup is from late 1800s England. Made by Allerton & Sons, the cup is part of a series depicting a young girl named May, who carries with her a basket of eggs. In researching this little cup, I learned that these pieces were made by printing an etching from a copper plate onto a piece of special tissue paper, which was then pressed by hand into an unglazed ceramic object. The detail in the ground is incredible, and I like the areas that are misprinted, as they are distinctly marked by the transfer process, which is often imperfect.
