Rejecting AI

as I tell students (who get it better than people my age), "AI companies rely on stealing intellectual labor, consuming environmental resources, exploiting marginalized workforces, and reducing learning experiences to opportunities for financial profit. The use of generative AI encourages the continuation of these harms and undermines models of education based on exploring, learning, and growing in community."
