The Elephant Whisperer (Lawrence Anthony)

After an adventurous trip this summer, I have fallen into a deep fascination with conservation. The Elephant Whisperer is the true story of conservationist Lawrence Anthony and the herd of elephants he bonded with on his game reserve in Zululand. I am currently reading the follow up book, An Elephant in my Kitchen, written by Anthony’s wife, who took over the reserve after his passing. Both are fascinating, inspiring, heartbreaking!
