Roscoe (Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve Remix) /// Midlake
Recommended by seán patrick john paul george ringo doran
“The original song is brilliant and we turned up the melancholy level to 11. The best remixes seem to write themselves, and this came about really fast. I met Midlake at a festival and they said most of their fanbase prefer our version, which was strange to hear but also rewarding to feel that you’ve contributed in a positive way.”

And I’d agree with their fanbase.
This remix takes the original, honors it, and somehow gives a glow-up all in one go.
Pairs perfectly with being on a trail, between tree and mountain, below a hazy yellow moon.

Oh wow, I haven't thought about Midlake in years! I listened to this remix and it's great, then listened to the original... it sounds like a demo version compared to this remix.
