“The best cookbook store in the nation! And the best resource for finding new and old cookbooks. You can reach out (if you’re not able to visit their store in LA) and ask for specific book recs. I got a cookbook rec for recipes to take on a beach picnic today (it was I’ll Bring the Apps)!”

“perhaps my platonic ideal of a bookstore. you can take a girl out of food media but not food media out of the girl”

“It’s a cook book store in the heart of LA’s Chinatown! They also sell some knives and aprons and the like, but the real emphasis is on food writing — recipe books, esoteric food magazines and zines, culinary criticism, author events.”
