any clear gloss from sally beauty will do, tbh. it's about locking in the color you just put on and giving it some extra shine.

my credentials include doing vivids on myself in my parents' bathroom since age 16 and staining at least 4 showers every color imaginable. (and also not being able to stand the recommended cold showers to keep hair dye fresh).
