Criticker - Personalized Film & TV Recommendations

If you haven’t tried Criticker, I highly recommend giving it a shot. I’ve been really impressed by how well it learns my taste and predicts how much I’ll like movies and shows I haven’t seen. Letterboxd is great for the social side and reviews, but Criticker feels like having a really good personal recommendation engine. It can save you a lot of time figuring out what to watch next, and hopefully help you find better things to watch too.

Update: I decided not to go back and rate every movie and TV show I’ve ever seen. Too many are from years ago, I don’t remember them well enough, and my taste has changed over time. Many would really require a rewatch for me to give an accurate rating. I’ve rated everything I’ve watched over the last month, and going forward I’ll rate things right after I watch them. I think that will give Criticker the best data for my taste. I use a 10-band ranking system from 1 to 100 to keep my ratings consistent.
