The Post-Office Girl (Stefan Zweig)

The first book we read for book club this month! Zweig and this book in particular, inspired Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel. It’s very beautiful and frustrating and devastating. Published 40 years after Zweig died, and many assume it was unfinished but it doesn’t necessarily feel that way. If you’ve never read Zweig, I don’t know that I’d recommend to start here, but a really good book!
