Please share your favorite places in Milan. We will be there for just under two days in August. So far all I heard was that it is especially dead in August and also generally boring, but I absolutely refuse to believe it. Help me prove them wrong :)

Ricci Osteria, Milan: Homemade semolina orecchiette was to die for!

Serra di Quartiere, Milan: The BEST breakfast I have ever had here. Went back every day it was so good. Incredible coffee, pastries, meals, chef. Truly divine.

Bagni Misteriosi, Milan: The most incredible art deco swimming pool + theatre! You have to line up for a while to get in on a hot day & must wear a swimming cap if you go in the water (you can purchase there) but it is a pretty magical must see in my opinion. There's also cafes and bars inside so you can spend the day there.

Cioccolatitaliani: Right across the street from Pizzeria Spontini, and just around the corner from the Duomo (which you should definitely pay to climb to the roof of!). One of my favorite gelato spots in Italy! I love the melted chocolate they put at the bottom of the cone 🙂

Villa Necchi Campiglio: The most stunning house museum in a beautiful neighborhood. It was open when I visited Milan in the depths of August a few years ago!
