I'd like to create an interactive map and listening tour of a public garden I volunteer at. Primarily to share the types of plants there and the history of the gardens. Are there any open source or low cost platforms (or the like) that could make this happen? I'm tech-literate and good at video / audio / graphics, but not great at coding; so it's mostly how to create an interactive, point and click map that is the hurdle.

Quick recommendation

If you want the easiest all-in-one (map + audio, no coding): Mapme or Tourient. Both let you drop pins, attach your own audio/photos, and embed on a website. Mapme is the most polished for point-and-click maps; Tourient is the most purpose-built for tours and is friendly to nonprofits.

If you want GPS auto-play "walk up and it talks": SonicMaps or VoiceMap.

If budget is near zero: free map tool (MapHub or uMap) + host your audio free on a service and link each pin to it.
