MHZ Choice

Yes, MHZ Choice sounds like a seating tier for a budget airline, but au contraire. This streaming service houses a real treasure trove foreign language crime/police dramas, specifically in the dark, brooding “Nordic Noir” canon. Perfect for the cold winter months. I’m a fan because your arm is twisted into paying attention by virtue of having to read the subtitles. If you’re looking for a good place to start, I’d recommend “The Bridge” (Bron /Broen). — Eli
