Any unexpected fun road trip entertainment ideas for an 8 year old gal? Packed drawing supplies and some Klutz books and she’ll read but does get carsick usually at some point and we’re fine with letting her get bored but always love ideas!

I recommend adventuring into the world of not-insufferable kids' podcasts (most are insufferable sadly). Our favorites are "But Why?" by Vermont Public Radio and "Sound Detectives." My kids also really like Arthur, though it might be a little young for an eight-year-old.

“I read the titles of these podcasts to my daughter and she said “those are the all the things I want to know about!” There’s a few similar podcasts around but this one’s a real winner.”
