A Good Tailor: I am very petite and hemming my clothing is non-negotiable.  Once you find a good tailor (try your local dry cleaners), this is the single most important step to take as a petite. I hem everything: pants, sleeves, the length of my tops -- even my workout leggings. It's a game changer because when you're petite, proportion is everything.

We the Free Barrel Jeans: I don’t know where you fall on the barrel jean debate, but hear me: as a petite lady, I’m a fan.

I don’t typically buy things new, but I had heard good things and I had been on the hunt for a good pair of jeans. I bought my normal size (26 petite) and they fit slightly big (great for big food days). And the petite length hits just right.

My pair is about two years old and they’re holding up! In a world where we’re enshitifying everything, it’s a comfort to know there are still some affordable, good-quality clothes out there.
