Buying Second Hand / Vintage / Pre-Loved

The thrill of finding something that I need or want for less than retail price and in a more sustainable way (there is so much STUFF in the world) never gets old. Neither does the feeling when I stumble upon something super unique, discontinued, etc.

My go-to spots: local second-hand/vintage shops (although "vintage" stores often mark up things you could easily find on your own for much less), Goodwill, Facebook Marketplace (worth reactivating your account for), Poshmark (best for clothes and accessories), The Real Real (designer), Back Market (refurbished electronics), garage sales, estate sales, Offer Up, Depop, Vinted and the "Buy" section of Rent the Runway.
