Kika Pauen Skirts

my favorite pair of pants are by kika pauen! they are sewn by hand in upstate new york. the brand's main focus is skirts (WITH POCKETS) made from deadstock and rare fabric, usually from france or italy. i recommended them in my holiday 2025 gift guide for passerby mag. you should also follow the instagram to see how all the ways they can be styled.

I realize at my time of posting that you can't presently shop as they operate on a drop basis. luckily a new drop comes tomorrow, april 9. all things you'd know if you followed the insta. btw my effusiveness might read like i'm contractually obligated to say all of this but I FREELY adore kika pauen!

“You may have seen other Kika Pauen recs, or read her writeup on Blackbird Spyplane, but I'm going to rec her twice as strongly because it's my brilliant mother behind the brand. Together we created her website so that she can sell her beautiful handsewn silk skirts with pockets. I obviously have one and you need one this summer/wedding season.”
