The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

It is en vogue to hate Ayn Rand yet I have always found this book to be incredibly empowering as a person who has historically struggled with people-pleasing, self-sacrificing, and being overly concerned about what others need, think, and feel. For me it is a welcomed reminder of my right to think, create, and live beyond the demands of others.
