I’m totally getting speed queens the next time I need a new washer and dryer!

Mine are only a few years old but so far, so good!

Any issues with them being hard on clothes? How is the delicate cycle? Would love one but have heard they can be a little rough.

I’m an avid knitter and do not use them for washing my handknits - but I wouldn’t put my handknits into any washer. For the other delicates (silk, lingerie), I use the delicate cycle and have seen no bad results. (The bra that inadvertently goes through an occasional heavy duty cycle because it was hiding in a tee has survived just fine, too.)

With that said, the waistbands of my Le Bon Shoppe sweats seem to take the dryer hard - but they disintegrate faster than anything else I wash, so I’m inclined to blame the pants rather than the dryer.
