A bell

When I was a kid, my grandmother had this cute little decorative bell that I was obsessed with, so when I was traveling for work recently and went to an outdoor market where they were selling brass antiques, I immediately thought that a little bell could be a fun souvenir for my own kids. I am 100% going to set some parameters around its usage, but I also think they are going to love it—it’s whimsical, it can be used in imagination play, and (big pro for them, maybe bad idea for me 😅) it makes noise.

I had a souvenir liberty bell just like this as a kid! When I would get really sick my parents would put it on my nightstand and I could ring it when I needed something from them.
It did become a funny joke in my family, but it honestly was effective and I was the type of kid that never abused its power haha
