Bernina 830 Record

This is my primary sewing machine aka my baby. My affinity for it led an Amish person to call my tastes "old fashioned" which I wear as a whole badge of honor. I purchased it off eBay 15 years ago. Its the sewing equivalent of a grandfather clock - you can pop open the lid and watch the gears move. It's tactile and powerful and makes beautiful stitches.

Even though Bernina doesn't make them anymore, it's highly serviceable with many aftermarket parts available should a repair become necessary.
