Not even breaking stride when you see a good friend and know that they’re late

@jillianvogel just did this to me as we passed outside school (pictured). Ahh, the freedom! The knowing! The mutual understanding that now is the time for chit chat, a smile and a wave will do! I love social interactions that on paper seem like a slight but in reality are just kind. Same goes for seeing someone on the subway and not saying hi. That’s THEIR time! It’s kind to ignore!
