A very short, gripping novel set in Ireland in the 1980s. Shouldn't take you more than three or four hours to read. Well worth it.

“A short read that swept me to a different place and made me have an immediate soft spot for Furlong. I love Keegan’s writing and how she is able to take you on a character’s moral journey with such tenderness and humanness. Also loved Foster from Claire Keegan as well.”

“Simply lovely. This year will be my third Christmas reading it, and I’ve decided it’s going to be one of my personal traditions.”

“A novella you finish in one sitting but packs all the feels. Recommend reading around the holidays.”
