laurel pantin of the earl earl glowingly recommended this $42 nightgown, and I bought it 3 years ago. Can confirm it's pretty great. More substantial than the gauzy doen ones, so you can wear it around without feeling naked. Also has pockets! my sister thinks it's very funny and bought me this lamp so I can walk around the house in this nightgown like a Victorian ghost:
