What's your favorite album to listen to front to back? I need some recommendations for when I do my makeup in the morning. Open to any genre, and totally okay with an album that may only have a few star tracks, but still comes together well.

This is a perfect album beginning to end, imo. This came out the year I finished high school, the album is about what it's like to be a kid right at this point in life. And man do you FEEL IT. I feel now, as a 39 year old. John Darnielle is one of our best living lyricists / storytellers.

I've bookmarked The Mountain Goats too because John Green really loves them!

John Green is wonderful and correct. I think I've seen The Mountain Goats live more than any other artist. After The Sunset Tree, I rec All Hail West Texas and Tallahassee.
