an unhinged rec to save your tomatoes

The squirrels in our neighborhood are maniacs. They've chewed through our string lights, through our kids bike tires (!). And they, of course, are after my tomatoes. My neighbor and I plotted a solution, and it's crazy but the experiment was successful. The answer is - cat hair. She has a Maine coon cat, and she brought me a bag of hair. I tuck it in between the tomatoes and it scares them off!! Worked for both of us! A game changer!!
