Sunbather

Deafheaven's controversial album + sound in it’s genre. typeface on the cover is a custom type from Nick Steinhardt.

if i were to recommend one song in this genre to experience ~ Dream House

metal that's meant for sweeping landscapes with melodic breaks to catch a breath. Explosions in the Sky. metal. ambient harsh vocals.

found in sf days. came up on shuffle while driving through big sur and was perfect.
