i got this book partially for my ex partner's family living with us who spoke broken english.

a wordless graphic novel. or silent comic. showing surreal scenes of a immigrant leaving & entering a fantasy land.

love layout + style + world design. felt like a mix of flipping through archival images and imagining a sci fi old timey movie.
