windy

my sis's friend studies ocean currents ~ horizontal currents and the ones that happen vertically ~ upwelling & downwelling.

they're all supes important to marine + landlubber life..but i was drunk + jetlag'd at a wedding when they were dropping knowledge on me and yelling bout how much i've grown.

so windy.com was my main takeaway.

and they agree the sea be a harsh unpredictable mistress that connects everything. that's why they study it and love spending time in it.

if you're worried about wind + temperature conditions during your beach getaway or ocean excursion ~ windy is a great weather forecasting app used by the pros with helpful visualizations to check.

oh, and that nat geo's expeditions are worth doing too.

but the tip is that they usually have extra spots that go on sale in the weeks prior ~ so save money by booking flights and waiting to buy sale tickets. if you travel risky like that.
