Drive the Ring Road: It is otherworldly, and you get such a flavor of the different parts of Iceland. From Seyðisfjörður to Vik to Husavik—it is all amazing.

the westfjords: i’m biased bc my grandpa is from here and i’ve gotten the chance to visit a few times with icelandic family. it’s not on the classic itinerary but there’s a lot to see— i loved the bird cliffs and isafjordur. like all of iceland, it’s very beautiful and parts of it are super super remote.
