The Grant
Art Deco vibes with great cocktails and friendly bartenders, it's our neighborhood spot. Lenny the neighborhood bar cat used to hang out out here but he has since retired indoors, but you must always patronize a bar that understands and embraces the cat distribution system, even if that cat is a loaner. They have also natural wine if you are into that sort of thing.

“A very solid martini. It will always be good no matter when you go, but if Otto is working he’s a cocktail savant and will get you where you need to go. Tbh I couldn’t tell you the price because we know people here and I am bad and never look at the tab, but I promise that if you want a normal-LA-priced-very-good-bordering-on-excellent-clean-straight martini (dirty, classic, whatever) this is it.”
