A climate-apocalypse novel about a group of children who take control of their own destinies when society and the environment collapse after a massive storm hits...parental neglect and abdication of responsibility place this story in Lord of the Flies territory, except it's a vacation town and all the adults are present but very drunk. Points for realism!
