having a changing station in our bedroom

after bath time, we do tender time in our bedroom. we rub the baby in lavender lotion, brush the baby’s hair like a little doll, and then read to him while nursing (shoutout to us for finishing “The Hobbit”). it’s so nice to have this little station in our bedroom to get the baby prepped at, then off to our bed for cozy quiet time. once he’s out, we tuck him into his crib and it’s lights out for the whole household.
