Bok Building

Smack in the middle of South Philly is the Bok Building, an art deco, New Deal Era vocational high school built by the Public Works Administration in 1938. The school closed in 2013 and has been repurposed into a gathering space and community hub that’s home to over 200 makers, businesses, nonprofits, and studios.
