What are some items, purchases or acquisitions that made a noticeable positive difference to your life? (Splurges are fine but ideally smaller things that just made your life easier or slightly happier.)

Love this little guy so much. Gave one to my 8-year old and it unlocked reading chapter books on her own. It has different warmth and brightness settings which make it tolerable even when others are in bed with you.

A coffee maker you can program to brew in the morning

Maybe I'm just a cavewoman, but it makes my mornings so much easier when I can program my coffee to brew at 6:30AM so when I get out of bed I can drink ASAP.

Red Light Therapy Belt for Body

Ugh I hate recommending an Amazon product, but this has been a game changer for me. I can’t take any over the counter pain relievers right now, and this has brought me pain relief! This particular product was recommended on Wirecutter as an entry red light product to try. Update: this helps my period cramps better than a heating pad!

Desert Sandalwood Hand Soap

Yeehaw I'm A Sandalwood Cowboy This luxe sandalwood hand soap with tasteful notes of iris, vetiver, and cardamom will transport your nose to the most delightful version of the American Wild West—a gorgeous frontier fantasyland where the coyotes let you pet them and the cowboys are all horsegirls. Reminds me of Santal 33. Made with olive oil and aloe vera, it cleans effectively without drying out your hands.

A lightweight compression brace that does wonders for my back. I went from daily back pain to essentially pain-free.
