Love has become so integral to our being that we are willing to lose our selves in it. Whether it be our morals or the relations we have with those around us. The slow yet invincible disregard of morality is what makes the characters in this movie even more human. Anne is everything that humanity condemns and she willingly accepts that by the end of the movie.
