my father-in-law taught me this a decade ago and never looked back. bulbs with CRI of 90+ are what you want (and imo 2700k color temp).

Lighting designer here and this is spot on! 90CRI+ and 2200K if you want to replicate the incandescent glow. 2700-3000K for a soft, neutral white and above that only for sterile, clean environments like hospitals. 👍🏻👍🏻
