Alexander's North Park

So maybe this is specific, but go to Alexander's on Mondays for dinner. It's the beginning of a long week, so why not treat yourself to Pizza Night?

A longtime tradition, Pizza Night is first-come, first-served. Arrive and sit, and enjoy half-priced pizza with discount wine and beer. Sit near the door and you will see everyone in the neighborhood and their dogs come hug the maître'd (who wears impossibly tight jeans).

The pizza is incredible -- wood-fired thin crust, either build-it-yourself or select from some of their house specials.

$4 beers! $6 glasses of wine! (RIP in peace to the $1 beers, back before the pandemic when you had to bring singles.)

For special occasions, by all means come back another day of the week, but definitely treat yourself on a Monday.
