Shawarma Guys

It's great. Pick up from there, food is great, fantastic. Guy Fieri. Yelp best of. Get lucky and snag a space in front of the liquor store. Yadda yadda yadda.

Here's the thing: The week we moved to LA, we were exhausted, and I just basically threw a dart at Google Maps and ordered food from a place called the Sidewalk Grill on Vermont Ave. And we found the most amazing salmon plate ever: Salmon, tabouli, rice, hummus, naan. Absolutely sent us into orbit. We must have ordered there once a week.

Here's the problem -- Shawarma Guys doesn't do salmon (yet?).

So what to do is get salmon from Trader Joe's, grill it up real quick, and order a whole bunch of sides from Shawarma Guys: All the tabouli, rice, hummus and naan. (The hummus we get the large container of and use on our za'atar bagels from Nomad.)

Boom. Salmon plate. Done, dusted, never better.

Get the baklava.
