Looking for family movie night recommendations: slow-paced, non-violent, ideally no bad guys. Good morals or teachable moments a plus. Target audience is a very impressionable 3.5-year-old who can’t hang with The Minions franchise, and adults who would like a visual treat. What works well on a projector, paired with popcorn and snuggling? What are your family classics?

This isn’t a movie recommendation, but it’s a crowdsourced screening for various trigger warnings. I feel like IMDb’s Parent’s Guide doesn’t always cover everything, so this may be a helpful resource to double check recommendations and see if your kid (or even you) would be okay with it (there are other similar websites out there, I just think this one is fairly comprehensive).

This website is so helpful for all ages — it’s got a lot of various potential triggers and just need-to-brace-fors for adults too. I think there are a couple others now along the same line but for putting the time stamp/landmark of jumpscares and flashing light/loud noises and I find myself so appreciative
