Do any of you have opinions on logical quotation (sometimes called "British style")? That is, to write "flow state", not "flow state." I want to super like that one. :)
I’m having a crisis trying to think of my past usages of the different styles… I think if the punctuation is apart of whatever I am quoting, I will include it inside the quotation, but if not, I’ll use it outside.
I found this example:
#1: Yesterday, Bob told me, "The trees are orange."
#2: Yesterday, Bob told me, "The trees are orange".
I think I use #2, which is the British style, right? Which do you use?
