This feels like a brain freeze (so it’s a bit shocking at first and high key distracts you from your headache pain for a bit). But in a werid way it feels good. There are other cooling eye masks that look like superhero masks (with the eyes cutout) that may be useful to wear as you write the paper because you can still see out of it

I have always done hot and not cold for migraines bc of the brain freeze thing but I kinda have to try it for the summer??

I have this but forgot I have it! I loved it before I started doing the sumatriptan shots for my migraines.

Are the triptans working for you? I use this paired with my meds. I’ve found this helps with sinus headaches too!

Yes the sumatriptan shots work like a charm. Lately I’ve found a little half-of-a muscle relaxer before bed also is helpful. I am falling apart I think.
