Playing your favorite songs Bossa Nova

I’m not sure how many guitar players are in my audience, but I would HIGHLY recommend playing your favorite pop and rock songs in a bossa nova style, it is super fun. I’ve done it with Tangled Up in Blue, Heroes, October Sky, I swear it works on any song. It’s a simple formula: take the chord progression, add a #7, a 6, or a 4 to every chord, and do your best to copy Joao Gilberto’s rhythm. That’s it!
