A Georgia-grown apertivo sold in partnership with Save Our Legacy Ourself, a nonprofit working to preserve the heritage, agricultural traditions, and culture of Sapelo Island, led by members of the Saltwater Geechee community.
Made from Sapelo Sour Orange, a rare descendant of Seville oranges originally brought by Spanish conquistadors, that has grown on the Georgia coast for centuries. No artificial colors- gentian root and rhubarb are the bittering agents and the color comes from a natural mix of red radish and paprika.
Brought a couple bottles up to replace Aperol once and for all!
