The Bloody Jack Series

This book series changed my life and has been a companion to my growth, middle school through adulthood - I've relistened to the series a handful of times. I always come back because the main character reminds me of the best in myself.

I think this series isn't a bigger deal because the first book is so heavily written in a period and status-accurate accent. But I promise, if you make it through the first book, you'll delight in the rest.
