"The House with a Clock in Its Walls" by John Bellairs

A gothic-esque mystery. Could be a fun Halloween-time chapter book. Little bit spooky, little bit silly and a lot a bit relatable for 9-12 year olds. The audiobook is great, too!

Love all of John Bellairs so much; last summer, we got to see the actual house that inspired this book -- a very fun stop!
